Clicking on Search result causes crash (unresponsive page) — r370 only #7630

Problem description

When you search for an event in r370, then click on a result, sometimes it causes a crash.

Well in a way it's worse than a crash because it doesn't give you an opportunity to save, it just kind of freezes!

I'm not sure why it's doing it. It doesn't always seem to require a lot of events in the box either, since it crashed in my project when there was only 3 results:

Steps to reproduce

  1. Use r370
  2. In the event editor search, type "ever"
  3. click a result

Observed result

Nothing happens, it freezes.

(If it does work on your computer, maybe try copy pasting the event group a few times so there's more events?)

Expected result

It should go to the result smoothly, like in r369.

This was introduced in r370 with some changes to the table control, any moderately large table is affected, for instance the Addon Manager.. Will be fixed in the next beta.
