The dev says he's in alpha with this program but the application is stable and the repository has 3.4k stars and more than 250 forks

Tag Studio is a python application, so I recommend having upstream publish to PyPi and let users install through something like pipx. I see they also provide pyinstaller binaries, so I will look into creating a manifest for their tagstudio_windows_x86_64_portable.zip releases. PyInstaller can be hit or miss with some people's antivirus, but that is up for the developers to work out.
