I've started to internationalize Tracmor, starting from 0.2.0 code base
(basically insert QApplication::Translate() or _t() on right places)
I've noticed there are already several strings "internationalized".
However :
- Several files in includes/formbase_classes_generated/ have
internationalized strings, but these files will be overwritten in case of
code regeneration.
- I've written two script to extract po strings from code and end up with
strange strings like "ContactCustomFieldHelper" which should not be seen on
application's pages.
Attached to this message, you will find 4 file :
- tracmor-internationalization.0.1.patch : current state of modifications
i've made to 0.2.0 code base
- createPoStrings :
a script which create a po file from internationalized strings in code.
Usage : createPoStrings <tracmor directory> <po file name> <existing po
file name>
The 3rd argument is optional, it defines a po file with already translated
strings to be included in the result (to keep work already done)
- poStringsReport :
Generate a report with filenames, strings and line numbers
Usage : poStringsReport <tracmor directory> <report filename>
- poReport.txt : sample report generated by poStringsReport.
I will post other patches as my work goes on.
