Add environment variable “scheduledEventArn” and handle CloudWatch scheduled events. The environment variable can be left unset if a scheduled event trigger is not configured. When a scheduled event fires, the lambda function will ask the car for an update. I have found this useful to program a daily update each morning after the car is supposed to have completed charging.
