I could do with having more validation / general care taken when interacting with the Monzo API.

A non-exhaustive list of things worth adding is:

During pot to pot transfer, ensure that the money is transferred into the current account before it is paid out to the other pot.
During withdraw from pot, ensure that amount > 0.
During deposit to pot, ensure that amount > 0.

Validation checks added at start of API calls to reduce the number of 400 bad request errors.

Checks ensuring that money goes in before it goes out again still need to be added for pot to pot transfers
