added auto updates and taskbar progress #17

I've added auto updating and copied over taskbar progress by counter185

Thanks for the contribution! Unfortunately, I would rather have the user explicitly choose to start the update process each time.

I could sort-of see an off-by-default option being of value for some users -- but, even then, I think what the user would remember is the one time "it started a download when I only had 15 minutes to play" or "I opened the launcher without backing up my mod and it erased it" versus thinking about the "it saved me a click" even 100 times.

I very-much appreciate the contribution... and I could be convinced about its value... but (right now) I think it would be more likely to get in the way of the average user.
