Yandere sim launcher issue

When I want to download the game from the launcher, it says there's an error How can I fix that?

YandereDev rewrote the error messages and hasn't shared the changes yet, although I believe that one corresponds to either:

• An error occurred when trying to download the game's zip file from Mega.nz OR
• An error occurred when trying to write the game's zip file to the launcher's working directory.

The two most common reasons for this are:

• The user is attempting to run Yandere Simulator Launcher from within the zip (rather than extracting the zip and running the launcher from that new folder). There should have been an earlier error message telling you that this is not supported.
  • Long story short, I don't know where the user wants to install the game. Instead of asking, I put it in the "working directory", which is typically where the launcher's EXE is being run from. If the user extracts YandereSimLauncher.zip onto a USB thumb drive, then running the EXE will install the game onto that USB thumb drive right beside the launcher's EXE. The user is capable of redirecting the working directory (ex: with a shortcut, PowerShell, etc.) but most cases are intentional... so I trust them. The major exception to this is when an unzip utility redirects it -- because exes cannot be run from within zip files, unzip utilities silently extract them as temporary files... unfortunately the built-in Windows unzip utility usually chooses the working directory as System32, which cannot be written to unless the program is run as an Administrator, which I explicitly do not do, so the write fails. I catch that error and pop up a message box.
• Mega.nz could be having a temporary network issue. These usually last a few hours. It was a fairly big problem in 2020, but they've been quite reliable lately.

The main solution is to extract YandereSimLauncher.zip into a folder that you have full read/write/execute access to (such as Downloads, Desktop, Documents, a sub-folder of any of those, a USB drive, etc.).

I am having this issue and have tried all other links have not worked for me either and bring up the same error message.
