But why it's so hideous is worth writing about, specifically it has a ton of silent failure modes where it reports everything is OK when something is broken Plus it has a toxic development team that refuses to address this It does do some cool tech stuff but it fails at delivering value we really need Gatsby completely fails on tags that aren't quite right and gives absoultely no warning it appears

This is mostly the same as the article proposed in #16 about how silent failure modes are very serious problems

As much as the framework annoys me I think we should just talk about this as examples in the artcile about silent failure modes (#16)
