Article idea: What do people think when they see us reading manuals/tactical reference material? #133

Been thinking about the perceptions culture implications of being seen to read manuals The other day an attendee in my course was one the people involved in creating 4G and 5G. So they were showing me the documentation for $G and 5G. There's the interesting dynamic though, if you saw a doctor and that doctor was reading some medical papers. Would you feel more comfortable about their abilities or less? Similarly if I saw you reading something about content strategy would I feel more or less confident in your abilities? I'd feel more comfortable because I realize that constant learning is really crucial But yeah I wonder what the effect of seeing people learning does to confidence for people from different backgrounds

I think this might be too "meta" for it to be a good post on this site, it might be more suitable for one of our personal blogs.

I don't think we should post this on the main site. Please reopen if you disagree.
