the SM chamber actually have a few things going on with it. Firstly there's a brand new omni delamination suppression system. when the emergency stop button on the wall is pressed it will, ideally, stop the runaway reaction happening inside the chamber (at the cost of some engineering work afterwards since it will break the plasma glass.) This can only be pressed once, and within 30 minutes of the round. it's a good failsafe for newbies learning the SM without getting in the way of traitors sabotaging it.
The other thing is there is now a Gas Sensor inside the SM Chamber linked to the air alarm, showing engineers exactly what is going on inside the chamber via the chamber's air alarm.
