Editing json file #4

I updated the json file with app running, and changed the name of the first person from "Alex Yeoh" to "new name"

image.png However, the name of the person is not updated automatically after I saved the json file.

image.png Even using list command will not update the contact information. Only way to view is to relaunch the app.

These behavior is not mentioned in the UG about editing the data file.

From UG, as from my understanding, it seems like editing the json file will be acting like the edit command and reflect on the app immediately, so many be more clarification in UG about the editing data file will make it more clear for user that is aiming to use this feature.

Hi! This falls under "certain edits" of the json file that can force the app to behave in unexpected ways, as you edited it while the app was running. Hence, this is covered with sufficient warning in our UG and thus is NotInScope.
