I am probably being a moron about it but all I can find in any of the files are the DB files for the WtA but no JSON file to directly import to foundry. The C20 and V20 stuff imported fine so I assume that there is a missing JSON file for W20.

W20 doesn't have a json since I never actually formatted it from what was given to me. The .db should install itself with the rest of the V20 and C20 stuff though, I got it to work with my test server.

Either way, here is a .json for it anyway. Again, this is in an organization that was given to me, and is not properly put into folders, etc. yet.

W20-Compendium-UNFORMATTED.json

ignore the #[CF_tempEntity] items in there. Those are a holdover from Foundry v10 where we had to use a module to have folders in compendiums.

I installed both the C20 and the V20 Compendiums and the werewolf stuff isnt in there. I scrolled through. Also could I contact you to figure out how to sort and organize it so I can help?

here is the error it spits out when u direct import the DB

Oh, I see. Mana's importer only suggests .json. the .db files are for when you install this module using the manifest link from your setup like any other module. When you do that you will also get my V20and C20 rules references (And soon Mage).

Also could I contact you to figure out how to sort and organize it so I can help?

Yeah, you can message me on discord. My username is @SeaSaltSong, same as here. That will be a huge help since I work on the systems I am personally running myself, and since my groups aren't that interested in Werewolf it is sort of one of the last ones priority wise.

I will try to help too.. I have a good number of w20 material...

werewolfworld.zip

this is items and tables that I think can be of use... many items where created before updates that allow for automations, and some may have notations in Portuguese... but most of than are ok

notable w20 martial arts are present... and most gifts are from wyrmfoe site

I took your compendium and tried to reorganize it to avoid the need for the compendium folders module. I recovered broken icons, removed empty folders, and recreated it as a module within Foundry VTT version 11.

I hope this helps. 🛠️🔍 wodsharedfix.zip

The current system already does not need compendium folders module, it's exporting it that I've been having the issues with.

I'll take a look at this fixed one. How'd you get the export for it? I've been digging around the root directory to find it and had no luck. I can take a look likely later this weekend, this is going to be a HUGE help <3

I used compendium modules so it could fix the compendiums and rebuild the intended folders, expecialy for the mage. It has this option.

After that, I needed to separate and rename some folders to prevent any folder from being more than three folders deep; otherwise, Foundry won't accept the export even with Moar folders. For example, I added 'M20' for all Mage first folders that I needed to separate from the parent folder.

Then I used Foundry's native module builder to create a module with all the intended compendiums. In my case, I created one for each creature, vampire, mage, etc.

Finally, I activated that module and moved everything inside.

To ensure everything was done properly, I recreated all missing icons with native ones and removed any empty folders.

I think the problem you are facing is that Foundry won’t accept more than three layers of folders to export, but it’s just a guess.

Also, my Werewolf zip folder above has some more material than the one in your compendium, but I used a different organization. For example, I do not separate the gifts by tribe or moon because many of them have more than one moon/tribe. Instead, I used a link system for the players to look…

In any case if I can help just give me a call here or use @erichviegas at discord
