Invalid syntax in mac_tool.py #410

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Trying to compile the .py files to .pyc files

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

SyntaxError: ('invalid syntax', 
('/opt/csw/lib/python2.6/site-packages/gyp/mac_tool.py', 506, 66, '      return 
{k: self._ExpandVariables(data[k], substitutions) for k in data}\n'))

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
This is with Python 2.6 on Solaris 10 Sparc.

Please provide any additional information below.

We require python 2.7.
