Grid settings are common to main/spare #449

I wanted to do some tiling work.
My source image has a grid offset of 1X, and I want to put the tiles in the 
spare page, with no offset.

Turns out it is not possible, as spare and main use the same grid setting.

Anyone against separating them ? If so, should we also separate the status 
(show/snap checkboxes), or should it still be common ?
