I'm closing this PR because I don't see these additions to the Repy API making it into the default sandbox right now; much like we have but choose not to mainline yet additions for HTTPS (via @deepjaisia) and IPv6 (via @ankitbhatia32).
I suppose we can refactor @XuefengHuang's contribution when we have a better handle on abstracting out Repy sandbox extensions.
