Contour follow problem #11

https://sourceforge.net/p/pycam/discussion/860184/thread/c9b152f8/?limit=25#2092 the toolpath is followed but in a very weird way, at some point in the toolpath, the tool raises to safety height, moves to a different point in the toolpath and then goes down and continues. The job gets done, but it takes possibily two or three times the necessary worktime.

There was a discussion of a problem where the was a hole 3mm in diameter, and the tool was 6mm in diameter. Is this the same issue? If so, then retraction and moving to next spot seems like a reasonable move. It might not be the best, but better than ruining a part.
