Getting constant NullReferenceExceptions in Unity 2022.3.28f1

I saw this issue somewhere else but for a different Unity version. For my version it isn't working.

When I add the 'Path Creator' component to a blank object, I get errors on the console and I don't see any of the path on the Scene.

Jfyi: The Github Repository contains a lot of updates that is not yet updated in the Unity Store. Using the assets from this repository directly seems to be working fine.

Using directly from here doesnt solve my issues also using 2022.3
