Why do we need PDFs?

I see multiple downsides of pdfs:

pdfs are shit on mobile!!!
good for SEO - gives us some content for google to rank our page

Benefits:

everyone can edit pdfs

The outreach guide is one of the reasons we have kept the PDF so far, it's just too huge for a "normal" site, IMO. What about the outreach guide being written in markdown? Github pages can host those easily, adding some style also (e.g. sample). Just as an idea...
