This appears to be something that the Xiv Voices team baked into the voice files themselves and is not a feature the Artemis plugin is doing dynamically. Re-processing the problematic lines with Elevenlabs instead may be doable as I work through the merging of voice projects.
Right now, it seems that if an NPC's dialogue prompt is short lived, the dialogue audio speeds up its playback to match the lifespan of the prompt, which makes it sound unnatural and robotic no matter how good the line is performed. It would be really nice if there were an option to let them playback at normal speed and queue them instead.
