Just downloaded the app for the first time and the first stream I tried to watch failed with this message. Works fine in official app.

I run into the same issue with certain streams; "stream is no longer live" but the chat comes through.

I reported the same issue on Google-cleaned version I got from F-droid here: https://github.com/Perflyst/Twire/issues/6 Another user seems to have find a good lead: it would be related to whether stream's game contains a space or not: If game name is a single word, it plays, otherwise it fails.

Where does it need to be fixed?

funkyp1ckle commented 5 years ago

the solution is to go into the settings of the stream and changing the quality from auto

Unfortunately that does not fix the issue since the streams in question do not have any quality options; there must be an issue parsing the url.

For instance "Dungeons & Dragons" streams are good examples since most, if not all, cannot be played even though the chat comes through.
