Gells cause freezes -Steamdeck

Describe the bug On several maps when there is flowing gell involved the game freezes. mostly seems to happen when its accumulating in the air.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to a level with the female sphere which uses gells,
2. collect gells in the air while looking at them. try having the gell drop directly down into a portal so it accumulates going back and forward
3. game freezes

Expected behavior Not freezing

I'm seeing pretty much the same in Desktop Linux: levels with Gels often hang the game. I can sometimes get pass it by looking away at the right time (after loading the game again...).

I also have the same problem in desktop Linux, but it is a bit inconsistent on when it crashes or what to do to make it freeze. One interesting thing is that forcing the use of Proton seems to solve the issue.

This also occurs for me on the steam deck when gels are being moved through the air.

Same issue here, Desktop Linux build of the game. Game freezes and then crashes when a level has gells flying. It happens not only on the chambers with the female core but all that have the gells. From my limited observations it seems like the game freezes when a gell collides with the tube exterior. I hope it is fixable as the official Portal 2 has no such issues.
