World editor: new mushrooms #602

Open Skarfester opened 7 years ago

I've been working on a red and a blue mushrooms for replacing the old one in the world editor. The trick to flip the image doesn't work due to colour gradient, so I made two variants for each. Opinions? @Bugsbane ?

They look good to me. I assume you were replacing the red ones in order to unify the style? I can't speak to the image flipping problem.

Nice, I'm for including them.

The ones underneath and to the right look good overall, although please replace the black outline on the top parts with a dark (say 15%-20% lightness / value) outline of a similar color to the full color. Eg a very dark red, for the red mushrooms, a very dark blue for the blue ones etc. Personally I also like to shift the hue a small amount also, but that's a personal preference.

While black outlines are striking and look good on any given individual object, we want consistency and to save the emphasis that a black outline gives, to characters and character interactable items. Currently on the overworld, this is limited to Alex and the circles marking each level. That may change in future though, but more importantly, this is about creating consistency in and with the in-label graphics themselves.

Actually the ones at the left with the black outline are the old ones, wich I pretend to replace.
