Does this relate to the nature of the scripts that are open, third party python
libraries etc.?
I have no other similar report, so any clue to help solve it would be useful.
For example does this issue occur if PyScripter is open with just one empty
file?

I haven't been using any third party libraries, nothing really arcane going on
in my scripts either. Mostly I got about 2~4 files open, I use the default
remote interpreter. Saw networked drives could cause issues, but I don't use
them.

I am having exactly the same issue. Running pyscripter 2.5.3.0 x86 with Python
3.2 on Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.
Pyscripter will lockup whole computer so nothing responds. Happens at stage
when you click on run button.
Can happen when I have no third party libraries open and even when I only one
file open.

I have had this issue and it isn't attached to any particular modules that I
can tell. Each time it happened it was with different modules loaded.
It does appear to happen more (or always not sure) when I'm opening files. Not
system protected files or anything and small (34kb or less).
Pyscripter 2.5.3.0 x86 with Python 2.7 on Windows 7 Pro 64 bit
As above happens when clicking the run button or ctrl-f9

Same here. Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.
PyScripter randomly hangs entire system. Sometimes i can work entire day,
sometimes on first run (when i open file with "edit in PyScripter"). Can't find
way to reproduce. Nothing in system log.

Same problem here too. Whole computer freezes immediately after pressing the
run button, forcing you to hard reset. Has happened three times last 7 days.

Can't say. I never have only one file open.
Not using network drive. Scripts are located on TrueCrypt drive.
Windows 7 pro (64 bit). Python 2.7.3 (32 bit). Pyscripter 2.5.3.0 x86.

I have the exact same issue when clicking run or CTRL-F9. PyScripter will crash
the entire system forcing a hard reboot seemingly randomly. It's getting to the
point where it has become unusable. Running PyScripter 2.4.1.0 (Python 3.2.1)
on Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

Why is it taking so long for PyScripter to do anything about this issue? We
have stopped using PyScripter as our IDE at the school I work in due to its
instability.

Unfortunately, the same happened here. The random crashing factor took me about
2 months to figure it out.
Does anyone else also have a delay when typing? It's quite rare but i just
thought i'd ask.
