Python 2 -> 3 upgrade #51

The Readme states you need Python 2.7. The countdown clock shows that it will be EOL a little over 2 months from now.

Now that python 2 is in EOL will the upgrade be made any time soon?

I have added a pull request which should allow for this to work. #56
