NBi is a testing framework (add-on to NUnit) for Business Intelligence and Data Access. The main goal of this framework is to let users create tests with a declarative approach based on an Xml syntax. By the means of NBi, you don't need to develop C# or Java code to specify your tests! Either, you don't need Visual Studio or Eclipse to compile your test suite. Just create an Xml file and let the framework interpret it and play your tests. The framework is designed as an add-on of NUnit but with the possibility to port it easily to other testing frameworks.
At the moment, it's possible to create buckets with the help of group-by. When dealing with time-series and willing to aggregate all elements by buckets of one day or one hour or one month, it's requiring to apply first transformations to the column representing the dateTime and then perform the group-by. It would be helpful to be able to have a shortcut to do this.
values: we create buckets of 1 hour based on the first value that we're facing. Meaning that if the first value is at 2021-09-05 21:17:12, the first bucket will include all value from 2021-09-05 21:17:12 to 2021-09-05 22:17:12
calendar: we create buckets of 1 hour based on the conventional starting point of an hour (at 0 minutes). In the example above the bucket will be from 2021-09-05 21:00:00 to 2021-09-05 22:00:00
