The 'Custom Menu Editor' feature has been removed as it basically already exists in way better ways (Visual Studio Code, Notepad++ etc.) It would just be too much work and a waste of time to add.
Released version 0.3.0 with the new settings menu as well as profiles and schemes! The Random Item Giver Updater is really taking its shape! Development is going very well so far. This will probably be one of the hardest updates, the next ones are gonna be way easier.
Will start working on 0.4.0 soon.
0.4.0 with the help menu and many other improvements is out now! (Took way too long to be honest.) Also, ETA is now 2023. Sorry.
Moved major redsign from 0.6 to 0.5. Because of how complex the software got, a design overhaul is much needed.
Major redesign is finally done! Will fix some bugs and issues in the design next. After that, I will finally work on 1.0
Released 0.5.1 to fix several bugs and improve the new design. Will look out for more issues, and will begin working on 1.0 if I can't find any.
Version 0.5.2 was trimmed down and will mostly contain bug fixes and improvements, no new features. All planned features have been moved to the new software.
Version 0.5.3 is almost complete and will come out in a few days. It'll be the last version adding major improvements and new features. After that, there will only be urgent bug fixes and support for newer MC versions. You can read more in #18
These things need to be done before the Random Item Giver Updater can be "officially" released (1.0.0)
What comes after 1.0? There are several other things that I have planned. Most importantly, the software will receive updates from time to time that fix bugs or add support for newer MC versions. I'll also add a bunch of cool new features and I'll improve older ones. I'm planning to rewrite bigger parts of the software for 1.0. The duplicate finder will also eventually be able to remove duplicates, I'm sure.
All of these points are supposed to be one major version (e.g. 0.1.0 or 0.2.0). Over the time these features will then be improved with minor releases (e.g. 0.1.1 or 0.2.1)
I can't give any ETA yet but I will try to complete it in 2023.
Edit 29.05.2023: As announced on the discord server, this software will be replaced by a newer, more stable one built on C# and WPF. This means, that there will not be a 1.0.0 for this software. It will still receive small updates until the official release of the new software. Read more in #18.
