Greasemonkey (have script - want to share) #344

Not really an "issue" as much as a feature request.

Did anyone roll Sefariate (preferably with pop-ups) into a Greasemonkey JavaScript yet?

If not, I'll try to make the time to learn how to do so myself. But why reinvent the wheel?

blockspeiser commented 7 years ago

To our knowledge, no one has done this yet. Sounds like it would be a good project if you're up for learning!

Should be tiny, as the bookmarklet is already javascript. This is just a way to run it automatically on page load.

It's more that I don't know Greasemonkey... And that I BH have a large family and a Wall Street job.

Will work on it, be"H.

Okay, that was trivial; took only a half-hour of googling, learning and playing around. StackOverflow has someone explaining how to translate a bookmarklet into Greasmonkey. (If interested, see here.)

Do you want me to put the script up on GitHub somewhere?

I am leaving this issue open until I get a "no" or it's actually shared.

Please do feel free to start a repo to share this on GitHub. We can add it to our projects powered by Sefaria page and will point anyone to it who could make use of it.
