How to deal with multiple different texts? #45

Many manuscripts include several texts, i.e. here you have an example of a Hebrew Bible (purple, left), a translation (red, right/middle) and a commentary (light blue on the bottom). image

Are those three separate Main zones ?

a) purple is the basetext. b) red is its translation. c) blue is a commentary. B and C depend of A but are not really marginal are they?

I see two options:

I guess it is a philological choice, for which we cannot really help.

In both cases you can add subtypes to specify what is what. Their values are open.
