Just upgraded and I have no animations. I tried resetting the animation, uninstalling rebooting and re-installing and still no luck.

Are there any error messages related to the extension in log ? Also, please try resetting the extension from dconf-editor

How did you install the extension ? And can you confirm if the preferences window is opening or not. Also please try manually compiling the schemas by going to animation-tweaks@Selenium-H directory in terminal and type glib-compile-schemas schemas, press enter, followed by restarting GNOME Shell and see if that works out.

Installed from the gnome extension site. Yes the preferences window does open. Tried manually compiling schemas and reloading, same issue.

Thanks for confirming. Please try Version 9.3 of the extension from new-version branch.

First disable all extensions and remove animation-tweaks@Selenium-H folder from the extensions directory. Restart GNOME Shell and install the extension manually as explained Manual column of Installations section in README.md. Restart GNOME Shell.

Also check that Animations are enabled in General section of GNOME Tweak tool.

Followed your instructions. Still no animations and the prefrence window was invisible. After reboot all programs I try to launch are invisible.

That's unexpected, since window animations are disabled by default. I'm trying to reproduce this issue. The extension is working fine in GNOME Shell 3.36.1 so far.

For now, you can remove the extension by removing the animation-tweaks@Selenium-H folder from the extensions directory.

I removed the extension and am able to view programs again. If it helps another extension that started giving me issues is dash to panel, it doesn't animate when i try to move icons around on it.
