I think so, last update was on 2021. If you still want to use it, I made a fork that makes it work for GNOME 44. I haven't really tested it extensively, so don't expect the same level of stability as this. But if you encounter a problem, you can always file an issue.

To install run:

wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/nanashi-1/Animation-Tweaks-44/master/quick-install.sh && bash quick-install.sh
