Selenium IDE - Record button does not work

Still here? We know that bugs are frustrating and annoying things. We also
know that you've probably spent ages trying to figure out what's wrong. The
more information you give us now, the more likely it is that we'll be able
to help.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1.download Selenium IDE 2.7.0 extension
2.click on Selenium icon to open Selenium IDE in FireFox browser
3.Record button(Options - box "Start recording immediately on open" is unchecked)-
nothing happens (nothing is recording and Record button does not react when clicking
on it
4. message displays in Table - Table view is not available with this format 
5.

What is the expected output? - user should be able to start or stop recording
What do you see instead? - Record button shows Recording but nothing happens and it
is not reacting when clicking on it

Selenium version: 2.7.0
OS:Windows 8
Browser: FireFox 
Browser version:33

Please provide any additional information below. A sample reduced test
case, or a public URL that demonstrates the problem will intrigue our merry
band of Open Source developers far more than nothing at all: they'll be far
more likely to look at your problem if you make it easy for them!
