Updated to 1.5.1 version, and now Spotify won't stream even though it's on my whitelist #106

I have Spotify on my whitelist, so that I can stream music as I write. I've never had a problem with it going offline, even when Self Control was running, BECAUSE it's on my white list.

Yesterday, I updated Self Control to version 1.5.1, and now, even though Spotify is still on my whitelist, Self Control blocks Spotify so I can't stream music.

Any fixes or ideas on what to do to solve this issue?

@PianoRocknRoll we didn't actually change anything in 1.5.1 that I can imagine affecting this, so my first instinct is to guess that it is unrelated to the update. I would assume it's something to do with Spotify's streaming servers moving... not much we can do to detect all possible servers, but if Spotify is a common enough block target we could eventually include special logic to improve that.

If it happens with other sites also, more likely to be a bug.
