Selfcontrol can be bypassed easily by changing the time on Mavericks. screen shot 2014-05-25 at 19 41 57 When you change date or time to future one - remaining time changes accordingly. screen shot 2014-05-26 at 19 42 12 When you reach time when block was supposed to end timer gets stuck and all websites are unblocked. screen shot 2014-05-27 at 19 43 49 You can then change the time back to automatic the timer will update, but websites will still be unblocked - even after restarting the app. screen shot 2014-05-25 at 19 49 58
