Did you run them as "sudo mkdir [path]" from the cli to make sure the path exists, depending on the location and permissions you might need to make the dir as root? Either that or you didn't add your user as a member of the docker group. Return to the read me and go to the bottom where it has the fix for running under wsl. That's not your case but is a common issue and lots of people miss it.

I have created /yacht with sudo in cli. I assigned group docker in permission with read and write but still getting this error.

We don't have a formal way of tech support, Github helps us track issues the best. However, we do have a Discord; you are welcome to join where we can speak easier and even screen share. Not only is the developer of Yacht there but others have contributed to its creation and support users who have self-hosted labs at home. If you are familiar with Discord, I would encourage you to join and seek me out. If not, then you are welcome to continue messaging here and I will assist the best I can.
