He may be referring to the same issue I'm experiencing, which is a flickering effect every second. It happens mainly and most consistently with fallback icons, but I've noticed a similar effect when an ability is out of range or otherwise unusable. https://gyazo.com/0f1afb85aed2212352a8673af9c06889 @gildedone lmk if this is the same issue you're referring to, otherwise I'll open a different ticket

Well that sucks. I specifically have code to synchronize my updating of range to the range timer but I guess that doesn't work for whatever addon (elvui?) you're using with its current configuration. And then there's the usability check.

Although I'm responding to issues I'm not planning any work on the addon so I'd recommend rolling back I guess.

Or investigating the code ;) It's not too hard and I'm happy to help with that.

This issue is also accuring when using Bartender4. I came here specifically to check the issues for this problem so just adding to this FYI

So the error isn't with elvui as I do not use the addon it's with bartender4 and shadowed unit frames. Gonna have to put this addon on the backburner because of the cpu usage as well. Not a coder myself or I'd look into it but loved the idea of the addon it's a major limitation of wow the macro system and really something like this needs to be in the game baseline.
