Technology lead for Structured Notes platform enhancements within Asia PWM. o SME on Structured Notes within Engineering team – regional business analyst for next generation order management system for Structured Notes. o Devise tactical solutions for handling Structured Note physical settlements focusing on accurate portfolio market value impact and account performance. Coordinate implementation with Global Markets and PWM Equity Structuring. o Engineering lead for launch of hedge-fund- and rate-linked derivatives – coordinate between PWM Equity Structuring, Strats and Global Markets to determine booking model, technology roadmap. o Primary support for all technology issues relating to trading the above structures.  Develop Python scripts to retrieve and enrich HK equities trade data to comply with SFC data standards regulation. o Wrote validation script to check format and logic of test datasets prior to submission to SFC. The module was subsequently adopted by Global Markets division for validations. o Auto-retrieval and generation of order lifecycle and reference data packages sent to SFC for testing on behalf of the firm. o Achieved successful Level 1 validation result from SFC for PWM test datasets. o Coordinate adjustments in design and logic with Equities Data Engineering and Compliance.  First-line production support for PWM critical systems and flows. o Represent PWM division on Asia Incident Review Board – present incident postmortems and respond to bar-raising queries from Engineering management. o Responsible for daily pre-market checkouts, including responding to and investigating recon breaks between OMS's. o 1st point of contact in supporting front-to-back time-critical pre-trade workflows for PWM. o Lead incident resolution in coordination with development teams, PWM management, Sales and Equity Structuring. o Primary trainer for new Associates on production support – knowledge sharing and shadowing on incidents.

Development Specialist – Retail Business Banking Technology Aug 2017 – Dec 2019  Responsible for collaborating with Amazon Lending tech team to enable Seller Loans features for small-/medium-size enterprises.  Scrum master of a team of 8 developers to deliver 9 sprints of the HSBC Fusion mobile app for Canada SME market.  Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint retrospectives and other scrum ceremonies with business stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.  Design user stories and epics, acting as a liaison between business product owners and the dev team.
