Resumed work on it last week, I will update the CodePen soon. Thanks for all the feedback so far!
Hi nhodges, is there anything new? Do you need help with testing?
I put togeher a bootstrap-datepangepicker "port" (https://github.com/BreadMaker/semantic-ui-daterangepicker)
So far, it's working and integrates very well.
I gladly will receive your suggestions.
@BreadMaker I cannot install it via Bower, isn't submitted yet?
I just used: https://github.com/BreadMaker/semantic-ui-daterangepicker and it works like a charm; let's you select a date (+ time) or a range.
Very nice :)
An integrated date picker in Semantic-UI itself would be wonderfull.
@TonnyORG please file an issue in the respective repo. Thanks.

+1, a supported datetime picker would be fantastic.
+1, using Semantic UI for a project and run into the need for this. Would be great if you could add!
For context on how much this is needed, @BreadMaker 's port of bootstrap-daterangepicker has now itself been forked in order to get it published on NPM. This is a pretty critical need, I imagine most people who are using Semantic-UI for a complex application have already run into it. Is this under active development by core devs, or just the surrounding community?

Is there an ETA on when that pull request with a calendar module (example) will get merged into master? It's a good looking piece of work, I'd love to start using it.
It's been almost 2.5 years since this issue was raised. I think someone should comment and explain what it would take to move forward, or reject the proposal and close it.
@milimetric I put together a simple prototype for selecting a date and a time made with Semantic UI modals, grids, forms, I mean with semantic UI components.
It does not contain a table to pick a day from, but that could be easily done.
My point being that even though a datetimepicker component is not provided by Semantic UI, it could be done easily composing already existing Semantic UI components.
It's made with hoplon because my endeavours are not intended to do anything useful, only to be fun to do.
It's here http://catonano.altervista.org
The code is here https://github.com/humanitiesNerd/project01/
Thanks @humanitiesNerd, I ended up forking the port from bootstrap and made it functional. It works ok, you can see it in action here: https://browser-reports.wmflabs.org/ (on top of each legend).
You can grab it with bower install semantic-datepicker
: https://github.com/milimetric/semantic-ui-daterangepicker
@milimetric could explain your changes to the original port from @BreadMaker ? As it works fine for me and can already be installed with npm and bower under the name : semantic-ui-daterangepicker https://github.com/BreadMaker/semantic-ui-daterangepicker
The latest code from BreadMaker's github worked for me. But the version that was available in bower when I tried to install it a month or so ago was broken. Since I saw there was no activity for months in the github repo, I figured it was abandoned and re-published it after some minor linting and dependency cleanup: https://github.com/milimetric/semantic-ui-daterangepicker/commit/64f5c121fb4c36e357a301884e230f979e4731a5
@milimetric Really cool usage

would a "semantic org member" please comment on whether this request will be addressed anytime soon?
Take a look at this comment https://github.com/Semantic-Org/Semantic-UI/pull/3256#issuecomment-218472548
I'm closing this issue and moving this conversation to #3256 :)
FIX CSS For calendars:
