I like the idea about not adding an scrollbar, because then it is against the idea of responsivness and making mobile friendly. +1 for the side table
+1, current responsive tables of semantic-ui are horrible...
I actually do think this is probably a better solution. Or perhaps another variation if not the default responsive style.
