[Dropdown] Multiple search selection dropdown using API should only display non-selected options. #5566

Good afternoon! Hope everything is well.

When selecting an option from a dropdown (using API pulled data) with the "multiple search selection" class attribute, already selected options will appear if you re-open the dropdown. This issue is present within the documentation: https://semantic-ui.com/modules/dropdown.html#remote-content

Just came here hoping for a solution to the same problem. This behavior is very confusing.

I'm having this issue as well. Is this really an enhancement? It seems more like a bug to me, as other dropdown types don't have this behavior.

I think this is a bug, since the default behavior of a multiple search dropdown is not met. Please fix this 😉 thanks!

We already fixed this behavior in Fomantic-UI 2.7.0 https://fomantic-ui.com/modules/dropdown.html#remote-content
