Does this extension actually require Semantic MediaWiki?

I'm not sure what intention you have with this sort of question but to give an answer, 1.0.0 could be in fact run without SMW (but currently not without SF) which does not imply it will do so in future because 1.0.0 was to make it actually work (and not have it rotten in the repository) .
