Feature Request: ability to convert a group/groups to a custom group or a way to lock them

Describe the solution you'd like ability to convert a group or groups and their streams inside them from being part of a playlist to being a custom groups or way to lock them to prevent their deleting when deleting or updating a playlist url

+1 on this request as well. I have one group that keeps getting its streams deleted when an update is released. It would be nice if there was an auto update checkbox as listed in files menu.

My use case is that I have a single master playlist that I've created groups from. The EPG is not always used so the playlist gets updated with different stream titles, which completely messes plex up. Having an auto update checkbox for a created group would allow more control and prevent the streams from dropping off once I've customized their channel number. I am fine with dummy information remaining and when the EPG is occasionally used, it will be updated.

I'd add that I would like to be able to use a streamgroup to set visibility in the main playlist editor. Almost as a backup option to when something goes haywire and I want that exact set of streams set to visibility = true and not have to go try to find the exact streams that I have in my stream group in the playlist editor. There is no way to filter on those.

lol u got me there. but am not sure if this still possible given that we are experimenting with a new db backend at the moment which am assuming if it works out, it will be then what sm will be using
