MyAmbience app improvements #25

Hello dear Sensirion devs, I am a random user of the SCD41 USB gadget and the Android app MyAmbience. I would like to ask for a small improvement of the MyAmbience app. I know that this repository does not have the source for the app, to my knowledge it is closed source. But I assume you either directly work on the app or know someone internally that works on the app, so I'm taking this shot at trying to reach the devs of the app. I am aware that this is a bit against etiquette, I am sorry. My intention is not to be impolite, but I could not find another way of contacting the MyAmbience developers.

Could you please ask one of the devs to add the option to set LED brightness of the SCD41 gadget to 0? The app already provides the option to set it to 10%, but that's still very bright. The option to disable the LED would allow users to measure the CO2 in their bedrooms while sleeping, and adding the option to set LED brightness to 0 seems like a rather trivial change for a big benefit.

Thank you very much for considering my request!

Thank you very much for reaching out and I fully understand that the LED can disturb you in the bedroom. I will forward your request to the MyAmbience product manager and check out if we can change this in the app in a future release.

Best regards, Pascal

We plan to support turning off LED in the next MyAmbience release which should be available around beginning of March 2023
