Ability to disable notifications for specific XMPP resources. #113

I'm using talkmyphone with a Google Apps account, and send notifications to my
Gtalk account.

Gtalk on my phone is always on.
I'm actually quite often logged from many locations (Gmail on the netbook,
Adium on the Mac, Gtalk on the phone and sometimes Pidgin at work).

When sending commands to my phone from any of those locations, Gtalk on my
phone receives replies, producing noise and vibrating.
Same when I'm getting an SMS. My phone Gtalk is notified...

It would be nice if we could specify which resource we do or don't want to send
notifications to.

My XMPP resources are specified like this :
- home : Home
- work : Work
- phone : androidXXXXXX (you can't change it)

I'd set TalkMyPhone not to send notifications to androidXXXXXX.

Unfortunately, I don't know the XMPP protocol a lot, and I'm not even sure it
is possible.
I really don't want to have to send notifications to another account, or stop
using Gtalk on my phone.

Thanks for this wonderful app !

I'm not sure xmpp allows you to filter the resource of your recipient...

Psi XMPP client under Linux (I don't use Windows, not sure about it) allows to
initiate a conversation with a specific resource. This feature is barely
implemented in XMPP clients though, not sure if it's a dirty hack or not in Psi.

If filtering out resources is not possible, it may be possible to specify which
resources to send notifications to ?

Just told a friend about TMP and he's actually complaining about the same
issue.. On my side, I'm using a separate XMPP account for now.

Merci, A+ :-)
