Can't change fullscreen after wrong screen resolution entered. #24

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to settings.
2. Choose 'Fullscreen' with a mis-sized screen resolution for your screen.
3. Return to game.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Not sure on version but using openSuse 12.3 64bit kernel 3.7.10-1.16-desktop

Please provide any additional information below.
Can't exit fullscreen with F11 or other key in order to change screen
resolution to appropriate size. The right half of the screen is not visible due
to the mis-match.

Hi IACHAweb.

Does this happen when you pick a resolution larger than is supported by your
monitor?

I pushed a commit to Github that should only make supported resolutions
configurable.

Does this work for you?

Sorry for the late response. I'm not sure what resolution for fullscreen was
the default, but my monitor is 1920x1080 (Asus G73 laptop). Once I selected
fullscreen and hit enter the screen wasn't sized so that I could see all of it.
Is there a config file I can manually edit to fix it? My daughters would really
like to play this :) Thanks,
Rusty

Yes, there's the pony.options config file.

It's plain text. Just set the width and height variables to your actual screen
resolution and it should work again.

Did this fix your problems? The config file should be in ~/.config/pony.options.

I also released a new version which contains the bugfix.

If so, I'm going to close this issue.

This did fix my problem, thanks. (I previously opened this with another gmail
account, IACHIweb). Thank you.
