my mouse is frozen when serenity is running #24229

The problem is that my mouse is frozen when serenity is running. So i can't move and control it through my mouse. where should i look at this issue? thanks!

This needs a bit more info:

what operating system are you using?
what Qemu version?
what command are you using to run Serenity?

Hi Daniel, OS: ubuntu 22.04 running on virtual box 7.0 Qemu: QEMU emulator version 6.2.0 (Debian 1:6.2+dfsg-2ubuntu6.19) cmd: Meta/serenity.sh run

It seems that I had the similar problem before which I used ubuntu 22.04 running on virtual machine on windows. I just installed dual system and the problems had gone. Not running ubuntu on virtual machine seems ok.

I also tried it with Ubuntu in VirtualBox and the mouse was frozen, too. Next, I asked ChatGPT what to do, and I disabled mouse-integration in the menu of the running VM and it worked! I think, this is the main-setting for this issue, but running some apps in Serenity OS was very delayed. Tell me, if it worked for you, too.
