Why? If you just replaced Dinput with Xinput you should make it togglable in the ini.

To avoid XInput controllers being incorrectly detected as DInput. Who needs DInput in 2023 anyway?

There still exist controllers which use it, like DS4 because not everyone uses DS4windows and maybe some generic ones, and I don't see a reason why it just couldn't be a toggle in the ini.

Who needs DInput in 2023 anyway?

People who only have a DirectInput controller and aren't willing to shell out money for an Xbox controller, or who have a preferred controller that isn't XInput compatible.
