Progress box says "Importing pages from the PDF document..." and stays at 0% progress

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open YAGF and select .pdf file to import
2. Specify export directory where .jpg is created.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Window pops up saying:

 "Importing pages from the PDF document..."

It stays at 0% on the progress bar no matter how long I wait, and whether this 
is a very short document, or multiple pages.

If I click on the thumbnail that appears in the left column, the text appears 
in the pane below. However, the progress box is still present at 0%.

I can select it and the select the OCR or OCR all Pages buttons, and it will 
interpret the text. However, the box STILL is present.

I expect it should complete it's progress, and this status box should 
automatically close when completed.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.9.2.1 on Ubuntu Trusty Tahr 14.04 (64bit O/S).

(This version is the current version in the 14.04 repos)
