Aero glass disappears when switching desktops

I have seen the glass disappear on all my windows, but can't seem to reproduce 
it right now. However, I have a gadget (7 sidebar, 
http://nes.bplaced.net/sidebar7.html), that will always lose its aero glass 
effect on changing desktops. I don't know if it is your code or theirs, but 
I'll put this here anyway.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install 7 Sidebar (it's free)
2. Run the gadget
3. Switch desktops

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to see the gadget with the aero glass effect, like it has on startup. 
When switching desktops, the glass disappears.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
mdesktop 1.6 beta 2
Windows 7 64bit, Service pack 1

Please provide any additional information below.
I know this has happened to all of my windows before, but can't reproduce it 
currently. If I get it to reproduce, I will post steps.

I think I'm actually using 1.6 beta 3, but the about information on the gui 
says beta 2. The file version is 1.0.48.5, if that helps.
