beta3 installs as beta2 #146

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.removed 1.6 beta2 with uninstaller
2.installed 1.6 beta3
3.run 1.6 beta3 click about shows 1.6beta2

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
should see1.6 beta3 instead see 1.2 beta2
makes me wonder if I am actually running beta3???

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.6 beta3 maybe? 
happens on Win7 32 Pro and Win7 64 Home Premium

Please provide any additional information below.
