What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Get DellDock (as far as I know, only accessible by having it factory
installed by Dell)
2. Install & run mDesktop
--or, possibly--
1. Since DellDock is made by StarDock for Dell, get StarDock's ObjectDock
2. Install & run mDesktop
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to either:
A) Be able to select the dock to add it to the "Windows on all Desktops" list.
Attempting to do so disables the selection mode without removing the "Please
click a window to add to the list." pop-up from the screen.
B) Have it show up on all desktops by default. Something about the fact that it
is part of the desktops themselves. Since I use it instead of icons, it would
make sense that it would automatically be persistent.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
DellDock version 2.5.0.1527
mDesktop version 1.6beta2
Please provide any additional information below.
I think it may have something to do with the fact that DellDock (as well as the
free version of ObjectDock) doesn't allow multiple docks on screen at once.
It also may be as simple as entering a PID in the "Windows on all Desktops"
list, but that functionality is not currently present.
My computer is a Dell Studio 1550 Series Laptop with 64bit Windows 7 and an ATI
graphics card.
